Ariola — Local services in Groningen

Ariola has been awarded 'Leukste winkel van Nederland' for many times already, so I know I want to come and try as I was back in town. It is a cute and lovely shop where you can buy many ready made food and Italian products in the charming Folkingestraat. Friendly ladies behind the counter who seem to know all their customers. I tried the zucchini and corn fritters, big shrimps, gevulde aubergine, and spinach pastries. I read from the other reviews that they have good sandwiches too but I had no idea and there was no menu where I know what they offer, and they also didn't offer me. Maybe you have to be a regular to know these. All the food tasted good and even better after I heated them up. They also gave me free fritters. Would come back to try more food, definitely...

As we entered Groningen for the first time and started to explore we stumbled across this little Italian store. Went inside to have a look and they had some really nice food and deli items as well as wines.
