Fernweh Groningen — Restaurant in Groningen

This place is absolutely amazing. The food is so great, including homemade cakes and croissants. The coffee is the real star however. Some of the best in the entire city. and the customer service is truly great!

The reason, however, I choose a coffeeshop is because of the ability to work as a digital nomad. This cafe has plenty of seats, plenty of outlets, fast wifi, and more. The vibe is great, and the fact that the cafe is a bit out of the way, makes it feel like a hidden gem.

I am nervous about sharing this coffee shop with the world, because I know its going to get so busy - but for those who need a place to work, with some of the best coffee and food in the city - then this is the place for you. Highly...

A hidden gem! This coffee shop has been here less than a year and I was lucky enough to find it by staying close by on a trip. Friendly staff, great coffee, great pastries (banana bread), delicious bowls (I tried the chocolate one), healthy protein plates (eggs, cottage cheese, avocado, smoked salmon, and fresh bread), and great sandwiches too! We had a breakfast on the weekend @fernweh. Food was good and tasty, the space was not very crowded. I think value for money was to high. Small Cacao for 6,50 was overrated. Nice place but for not beeing central and not extra special you should not await a cheap place ;)

One point reduction: We ordered drinks first after that a menu with drink included but this was not deducted (we have found out later because someone of our group payed the complete bill). I think the owner should have seen...
