I love Mandi House, in a short period of time we have become regulars. The food is incredibly tasty and homey. I am not from Yemen, but the food seems very authentic and traditional according to my understanding. We especially love the Madbi chicken (takes 30 minutes to cook, but it’s worth it!) and the Fasah. The atmosphere is very nice and cozy, it is actually what first drew us inside! The style was curated by an upcoming interior designer that happens to be part of the family that owns the restaurant. The staff is very kind and professional and always helped us in our choices. Read moreThis is my favourite restaurant in Groningen. I have been many, many times with my partner and I take every opportunity to bring my friends and family.
The service is always super friendly and attentive. I'm always left smiling :-)

The food is absolutely delicious, the portions are generous, and the prices are very reasonable for the quality and taste. I tried the Mandi, and honestly, it tasted exactly like the ones I used to eat in the UAE—maybe even better! It’s the best Mandi I’ve had in all of Europe.
What made the experience even more special was the incredible generosity of the restaurant owners. They were super kind and welcoming—they gave me a free meal and even offered me some traditional Arabic sweets, also for free. It truly felt like I was visiting family, not just eating at a restaurant.
If you’re a fan of authentic Yemeni food, this place is a must-visit. I’ll definitely be...
