Yesterday, it was our second time at Kokkie Londo. We love their concept - they have a menu that changes daily with a vegetarian option and a meat option. The portion is huge and the food is extremely delicious, you can tell that everything is made with a lot of care and love. 🧡 The owners are wonderful people who clearly put so much joy into what they do, and it really shows. The place feels warm and welcoming because of them and you can appreciate the details highlighting the vibrant Indonesian culture It’s also very affordable for the quality of food you get - they offer a nice selection of desserts(my favourite is the spekkoek), beers, and a variety of exotic teas. If you’re in Haarlem, I highly recommend trying this. It’s definitely worth a visit.

We pre-ordered online the chefs special for 2 for pickup. This has to be one of the tastiest restaurants I've ever had the pleasure of eating at! From the head chef explaining each and every dish in English to us, with precise explaining on how to reheat the food for later. He gave us so much food for the price it's fully worth it! The taste and spice sensation was out of this world. With such a charming and kind chef you can tell the food is cooked with the heart. Really recommend and I am going to book a trip back to Hillegom just for this food. Thank you so much for such a wonderful experience. I could not rate more but wish I could.

The food was amazing! It was our first time here after we randomly found the restaurant on Google Maps. The menu changes daily I believe and we went on a Thursday. We got ayam kicap and some beef dishes, which were all really tasty. There is also an equivalent version of the dish if you are vegetarian. We had someone in our group that didn’t eat beef, so they kindly kept the chicken and replaced the other dishes with vegetarian options :)

We also reserved in advance for a group of 5 and I would recommend to do so if you’re coming with a large group as they can get quite crowded. We’ll definitely come back again to try...
