Locael Centraal — Restaurant in Haarlem

The food is adorable and presented well, the taste is great and offers something for everyone.

The portions are a bit small, and I know the day so on the menu: "buy two small dishes to enjoy". But even with the warning and ordering two I left a little hungry.

The restaurant itself looks amazing, the tables are well set, the decor is rich but not a distraction.

The reason I only give 4 stars is the awful music. Who wants a DJ playing too loud music over dinner? I'd like to hear what the person's across me is saying. We asked once.to.lower the volume and for a good half hour it was a lot better.

Service was good, staff is friendly but felt a bit new to game.

If not.for the food, visit for the view! It's great to look out the window and see all the bicycle...

Great bar & restaurant right behind the Haarlem train station in a very modern setting. The very friendly and relaxed staff let me know that the kitchen was already closed (at 9:30) although their closing time is after midnight - closing times are flexible as they close if there are not many people. They did have finger food so no problem at all. Excellent chicken nuggets and bitterballen.

I had a business meeting and dinner, the warm atmosphere and super friendly staff really helped to make the dinner meeting super relax.

I like the separation between bar, lounge and dinner. Food and drinks are good in price / quality.

The railstation closeby was a really big plus. I live in Amsterdam center and I was in the restaurant from my house , by train in just over 30m.

The five star will be given if the toilet was clean. It was bit of a mess with paper towels on the ground.
