Chidóz — Restaurant in Haarlem

I recently moved to Haarlem from Los Angeles, and naturally Chidoz seemed like a good option being that it's the type of food I'm accustomed to eating back where I'm from. It was a build your own Burrito spot, and it's set up like a very high end Chipotle (with reasonable prices).

This place blew me away in terms of quality and service. I got the beef and it was cooked and marinated to perfection. All the ingredients were fresh, and it really reminded me of being back in California. They also heat up the finished burrito so it all melts in your mouth. It was absolutely delicious.

The first time I came to Chidoz, I didn't check the hours on the door and I arrived about 30 minutes prior to the time they open. The front door was open and the manager came out and told me they weren't open yet. Instead of saying come back when they're open, he still served me, happily. Update - 11-11-2022 : Got refund from Thuisbezorgd and email from Chidoz that they have initiated refund. Ordered again and the food was really good. Rating updated from 1 to 5. Looking forward for good food :). I hope they maintain the same quality!

----------------------------------OLD REVIEW--------------------------------------- Ordered a Bowl with black rice, the rice was undercooked I couldn't find any black beans or Pico de gallo (I had not opted out of it) plus they totally forgot about Nacho's. I ordered food on 24/10 at 7:48 PM using Thuisbezorgd(TW8VTE), I will never order food here. I had ordered previously and it was good but this time I had to chew through hard rice hope I don't fall sick.

Update: nothing was done by Chidoz or Thuisbezorgd for failing to maintain food quality even after complaining...

Was there a couple of months ago, but a review is long due. This is a lovely, subway style burrito place (meaning you can create your own burrito from a selection of toppings and sauces). The, I assume, owner was working the serving line and we were greeted with a smile. He immediately offered to walk us through the process, and he did. We made a couple of off-menu requests (we really wanted some sweet potato fries as a side, which, I don't remember why, was not contemplated, but they obliged nonetheless), which they granted, graciously. The food was AMAZING. So tasty and very filling. The price was more than fair. The staff (thou I only remember two people) was lovely the entire time and even joked around with us. If I'm ever in the Netherlands again, I'll make it a point...
