Papa Johns Pizza — Restaurant in Haarlem

We used to order at Papa Johns regularly, the Pizza is ok but this weekend we had such a bad experience with the service and waited 2,5 hours for our order. Which is not worth it.

We ordered for fast delivery within 30 min, when nothing arrived after an hour we gave them a call. The lady on the phone said the driver just left and will be there any minute. After another 30 min, we called again and they figured that the driver gave the order to someone else - this can happen, so we asked if they can prepare the order directly and they did offer an extra. They said it will be sent out within 15 min. After another full hour, we just wanted to call to cancel the order but the driver did then arrive. An order mess-up can happen, but after they have been made aware of this, they should have put some priority on fixing their mistake, but they unfortunately...

I would've been happy to give this pizza place a 5-star review but unfortunately the non-existent communication and connection issues for home delivery are very disappointing. Several times the website and app does not work, I have been unable to expand on the menu to make sure of what I'm offering. To get better information and place my order, the number is never in service and nobody picks up (Haarlem Branch). Today especially, I was hoping to order with my friends to celebrate a special occassion and naturally - unreachable. Papa John's has truly always been a favorite food joint, even back home. Extremely disappointing. Not sure if I will bother trying again.

How is this place still open, I’ve been waiting for 2 hours. Still nothing. According to the person on the phone they only have two employees. I’ve only ordered a single large pizza and a dessert.

This is a shame, whoever owns this franchise location is clearly milking it for profits while taking advantage of the brand without living up to the expected quality and service.

I will try and spread the word to make sure no one orders from this place again. Corporate Papa Johns, if you’re reading this, you lost another client to Dominos.

Finally, 2,5 hours later I get my order, incomplete....
