Very disappointed by the service and the way how they deal with customer complaints.

I ordered through Thuisbezorgd.nl and a half hour later they called that my food was ready, but that the driver was nowhere to be found. I wasn't in a hurry, but my food arrived 45 minutes later after that call and they gave me the food they already prepared (which was completely cooled down and inedible). That the food arrived too late is the fault of Thuisbezorgd.nl, but to hand me the food that was ready 45 minutes ago is shocking in my opinion. I called back and they told me that the food was supposed to be 'lukewarm' (in my case it was simply cold), they couldn't do anything about it and I should contact Thuisbezorgd.nl (which I did). Thuisbezorgd contacted this restaurant, I've contacted it as well but I'm still waiting for a proper reply.

For a restaurant with such rave reviews I’m utterly shocked by this entire process. I expected to receive good food according to the reviews online, but was completely let down by this entire experience. The handling of this entire situation left me with a sour taste in my mouth and felt disrespectful towards a paying customer. NEVER AGAIN!!! Super rude kitchen, horribly slow service and food is also inedible. We had to wait an hour after our order for the food to arrive, and despite the wait, the arrived food was salty. After the kitchen remade them, they were still salty and the front of the house kept saying because it’s Europe and people like to eat salty, there’s nothing that can be done. After I told them that that’s not true being another Asian living in Europe, they quickly changed their wordings and asked us if we would like to change the order. We agreed but after a minute, we were informed that the kitchen refused to continue serving us. Basically, we were kicked out by the restaurant and still had to pay for the full order. I have never experienced such humiliation in my life and this was the first time I have ever experienced something like this. The kitchen did not even apologize and making us pay for the entire menu was also unjustified. I question the work ethics of this restaurant and would kindly inform future customers to be aware of their two-sided faces. I am utterly left speechless and am very sad to have experienced this...

Update needed: Visited this week, first time since last October. We still enjoyed the food, but the prices have increased again! And so much I don’t think we will back. The noodle salad bowl I usually get was 17, now it is 20. That is too much, especially since 17 was a bit high for not even including Vietnamese egg roll in the bowl. (Common at other restaurants) Vietnamese coffee €5? It was tiny and barely any condensed milk. If you want it iced that’s €2 more. And charging for tap water? I am sorry, but no. (2 years) We really enjoyed the food and atmosphere. Lovely place with food that is a great version of Vietnamese.
