Savage — Restaurant in Harderwijk

We made a reservation a few days in advance to celebrate a birthday. The menu was either a four course menu or a la carte. The courses were a surprise, so we had to mention possible allergies and diets which was no problem at all. EVERY single course was stunning! They were not only beautifully arranged but so delicious. The dishes were superb! We had 6 course menu and all of the dishes were very good. Chef Jarwin and his team really knows how to spoil our pallet. Our favorite were the 3.5 hours slow cooking octopus and the last warm meat dish which i forgot the name but you can see in the pictures :). The staff was friendly and has very good knowledge of wine! The atmosphere was relaxing urban jungle vibes with good choice of music. We did have to wait about 40 mins from course 3 to 4, we gave this feedback to the team. They change the menu every season which is a good thing! Something to look forward to for...

We were first time visitors. The decor was striking and inviting. With the kitchen situated behind the bar you can watch your food being prepared which is quite cool. There is a good variety of dishes available and as fans of fine dining we were delighted that every dish served was an absolute banger and there were really none we thought of as 'just ok', literally everything was excellent!
