Kings ice cream parlor — Restaurant in Hilversum

Okay so... I love king's.... but this place, ohhh man. They've got good fries and stuff, good icecream... but it's not too rare that I ordered a large soft-serve icecream and they gave me basically a size small/medium or something. And other days they'd give this huge blob I have to eat with my friends so it doesn't drip everywhere. (Not complaining about the large ones tho :P) but yeah.. They should really have a minimum size. At least like a reference picture or something. But, the main reason I put 2 stars is... okay so, this guy at the place he basically was having a good day I guess and gave me one of those huge blobs of soft-serve icecream. Later I come to the back side register to order fries and wait for a very long time for someone to notice me. And I see that same guy literally drop out a whole load of soft-serve onto the table hidden from the customers up front, look around, pick it up with his BARE HANDS and stuff it back into the container then load it up ready for serving. I told my friend, he told me not to leave a bad review I was gonna make because he's just a teen and it's just a small mistake. (I'm 14, no old boomer don't worry). But yeah that happened uhm... Last week was the first time i bought friet here and now im waiting for them to open to buy more. I have lived in Hilversum around 25 years and this was the best friet i have ever eaten. It was even tastier than the little hut place off the Leidsestraat in Amsterdam and they are famous for the best friet in Holland. Also the young lady who served me was really polite and friendly. If you love friet then come here. It’s on the corner...

How disappointing :( A lot of standard flavors (not creative). If only the standard flavors would knock you off your feet but that was not the case. Cookies flavor was more like a plain vanilla, coffee flavor had no coffee kick/tasteless, salted caramel had no salt and barely caramel. Won't be going again despite it being a childhood...
