Restaurant Parc — Restaurant in Hilversum

A scenic, circular restaurant with floor to ceiling windows, great food, wonderful service and excellent food. Our very helpful waiter Dan helped us with the menu making suggestions and sharing his knowledge of the good wine list. I had the lamb shoulder, which was accompanied with couscous and sweet red cabbage. Kim had sea bass with lavender sea grass, lavender foam, clams, and potato horseradish mousseline. Perfect wine pairings, as recommended. For dessert we shared the Eton mess, combining vanilla ice cream, pink and white meringue with a sparkling red wine. Nice fine dining restaurant 10 minutes Way from the center of hilversum! Food is a bit too fancy for my taste but they had an option for everyone!! The burger was good fries was yummy desert was really nice small portions. Prices are as expected for the quality of food. If you like fish this is the place for you they have all kind of fish. Recommended to order the chefs menu as it has everything. Dirks are available in a huge selection. The atmosphere is nice we really enjoyed the time Staff are super nice and friendly the service is good Food was a bit late but i think it was meant to be for the experience. There is small parking lot that might be difficult to find one for you but...

The restaurant itself is in in a nice location and the waiting staff are nice enough. The food is OK, but a bit overpriced for the quality however the Front of House, Maître d’ is basically rude and has zero customer service skills. He seems to think he has a position of power and is arrogant and rude to the guests. It is a shame that whoever owns the restaurant probably doesn't realise that he is putting paying customers off visiting the restaurant. We will think twice about going again. Perhaps he needs some training on how to treat customers as he basically has no hospitality...
