The inside and the outside of the castle is very peaceful and well kept. If for anything and you are near by, then check it for that. You should definitely find another place to eat. The food is subpar. Tastes aren't balanced. the presentation is poor. Yes, that is burnt onion on this monsterous sized omlette (apparently, made of 3 eggs). Schnitzel is advertised as xl. The service is EXTREMELY slow (and it was less than half full). The staff is disorganzied, which contributes to the very long wait times (soup 30min, had to ask staff to clear the table and bring the mains, waiting for mains 40 min, escalating a second time 20 min after waiter said 6 min). Staff just runs around ineffectively. As an example, one table asked for hot water. The waiter went into the kitchen and waited and chit chatted until the hot water boiled to come back out. The place itself and location are very beautiful and the outside sitting area is perfect for a sunny day. Having said that, I would recommend it only for classical drinks (a coffee or a glass of wine). Service is kind and, despite other reviews, fast and efficient. Yes, the team is young and needs some training, but that did not influence at all our experience there. What needs to be improved here are food standards. We had a Ceasar salad that had nothing fresh about it: chicken was in the form of ham, tomatoes were dry oil ones. I ended up eating rucula with parmesan, which is very far from what I was expecting. The toast with eggs was ok-ish (basic toast bread, over cooked eggs). We also ordered some homemade lemonades, but they ended up being homemade with pre-made artificial and sugary flavours. I went here for two different night, the building is beautiful, the dining environment is also great. The only problem is the meat they grilled. The steak and lamb I had are having strong charcoal smell and taste that covered the flavor of the meat. My assumption is the grill net didn't clean well, all the taste from the previous one stayed on it. In the end , all the meat taste the same...
