Restaurant Little India — Restaurant in Nijmegen

We arrived on time at the restaurant, which was full. The couple in front of us had no reservation. The staff found them a table for 2 and they were seated. Then us, only to be told that we must wait for a new table to open up. If i take the time to reserve a table, i do not expect our table to be given away to someone who does not have a reservation. At the very least he should have checked who had a reservation before giving our table away. We were very angry and had been looking forward to this for a while, and travelled from out of town to be there. Also the way we were dismissed was not polite. We went around the corner to Indian Way and had a lovely time. We were greeted in a friendly way, were seated immediately and the food was fantastic. That is definitely the place to be for Indian food...

Food delivered by thuisbezorg in 90 mins. I expected that takes time. Ordered food for 2 and a butter chicken. It was ok. Nan was smaller size but ok. Rice good size. But it felt like food was adapted to dutch taste. Very mild taste. Nothing spectacular.

After reading reviews I had a high expectation of the food. Everyone said it is the best indian food. For me it lacked taste. No salt no spice and not much taste. Chicken masala looked exactly same as butter chicken but they should differ in color a bit. I was surprised, I ate butter chicken before and always was much better than this. At My friends, in India, in Barcelona, all were really bold and special tastes. Chicken masala really didnt have masala taste. The chicken was tender though. Chicken was good. I think I will not reorder...

Had a big order for 7 people spending over 100 euros. After 2 hours the food hadn’t arrived yet, even though the app showed it as delivered. We had to call the restaurant who said it’s coming. Half an hour later still no food and had to call again. Then finally we got the food, but unfortunate the quality was way worse than any Indian restaurant I’ve ordered from before. A thick layer of oil covered every dish, flavor was off and one of our dishes was supposed to have shrimps which were hardly there. Definitely doesn’t compare to any adaptation to Indian cuisine, let alone real Indian food. Traveling to India twice a year and ordering Indian food often in the netherlands I can’t say anything positive about...
