I had a very enjoyable cup of coffee and nice breakfast
Before I make my comments, I always read through reviews, especially the bad ones to see why are they wrote bad reviews. Often, as maybe in this case, the bad reviews were people who don’t review much or possibly have a particular mindset of a culture in which day live, not an open perspective of how people do things in other places that they don’t live.
This is about a three year old establishment that is above a department store, that is very nice. The decor and atmosphere of this place is really cool. They had Wi-Fi with the password very visible, which many places seem not to be able to do. And, the decor was just very comfortable and pleasant. It actually has a nice high-end touch
I ordered the salmon toast on sourdough with eggs on top that were maybe poached. It wasn’t prepared the way I’m used to salmon on toast to being prepared. But, I don’t ding establishments for doing things the way they do them. I judge them based on the taste and the preparation and the presentation.
The salmon toast was good. It was very tasty. It was beautifully presented on the plate.
The coffee was phenomenal. I’m new to Aruba, my first time. And, I’m not find it easy to find good coffee, or at least a multitude of places that serve it. So, this is definitely a good coffee. I love the way they presented in an insulated coffee mug. Now, I want to find a coffee mug like this. It was Glass, as you’ll see in the pictures.
If you’re in Aruba and you want a really good cup of coffee, this is a good spot. I looked at some of the other dishes they were serving, and I think that you might be really pleased with some of those as well.
As a person who has traveled extensively and dined in places, all across the globe, I try to be very thoughtful in my reviews. Part of that is being an honest broker, not someone who judges based on preferences, but rather based on quality of food service, and atmosphere.
Give this place a try. I think...
Read moreSo glad we were on a mission to find this place! I had it on my Google map before we even went and knew from reading reviews and looking at their menu that it was going to be good. It did not disappoint. My husband and I both did Acai bowls, which you get to choose 2 flavors of sorbet, and it was the best one I've ever had. We both did a fruit flavor and coconut. They were huge, had so many amazing toppings and the presentation in glass bowls was a wonderful touch. The lattes were also in glass mugs as another reviewer mentioned and we thought the presentation was perfect. The matcha latte was delicious! As others have said, it is the upstairs of a women's clothing store, but the signs make it relatively easy to find, it's just a little unexpected. The cafe itself was adorable and the service was excellent. Even after spelling her name for me, I can't seem to remember it, but she provided fantastic, friendly service and conversation. I'm sure the owners know who I'm referring to, so please recognize her for that. We had 2 servers that checked on us multiple times and they were both really good. If you want a lot of delicious organic fruit, a cute atmosphere and great service while in Aruba, don't miss out on this place. It's very close to the Super Food Plaza, which you can't miss...
Read moreThe owner of this business consistently reports negative reviews to Google, leading to an overwhelming number of only positive feedback. This practice reveals a lack of honesty and transparency, as the establishment exploits Google's reporting system.
The replies from the owner demonstrate further dishonesty; instead of taking accountability, they resort to gaslighting and personal attacks. The owner creates a false narrative by meticulously managing the online reviews. Given the poor food and service, their only strategy seems to be controlling the narrative on Google.
This business is not just overpriced but also a blatant tourist trap. The management is disgraceful, and I reserve my reviews for establishments that stand out, particularly those that are horrific. My advice to the owner is clear: treat your customers with respect and avoid overcharging. There are many businesses that deserve support; unfortunately, yours is not...
