The Pearl Aruba Unit #24 – Ground Floor 2-Bedroom, 2-Bathroom Condo
This condo absolutely exceeded our expectations! From the seamless booking process to the thoughtful communication from the management team, everything was perfectly organized. The detailed laminated guidebook and follow-up emails were packed with helpful tips and information, making it easy to plan our stay and explore the island stress-free.
The condo itself is stunning—recently remodeled and even better than the photos. The kitchen is equipped with IKEA stainless steel cookware, quality appliances, plenty of utensils, and an assortment of herbs and spices (no oil), making meal preparation a breeze. When we arrived, the space was pristine, cool, and welcoming—the onsite host had thoughtfully ensured the AC was on, creating the perfect oasis after a long journey.
We booked this stay rather last minute and didn’t have much time to thoroughly research all the options on the island, but we couldn’t have made a better choice. The owners have clearly gone above and beyond to ensure their guests’ comfort. From floating drink coasters for the pool to a well-stocked cooler, ice packs in the freezer, and beach towels and chairs for nearby Eagle Beach (just a short 6-minute walk away), every detail was thoughtfully considered.
The property itself is beautifully maintained, featuring a large pool, a kiddie pool, and a massive hot tub (around 89 degrees—just a little warmer than the pool—with no closing hours). It was perfect for late-night relaxation after a day of travel or exploring the island. Just steps from the condo, there’s an onsite cocktail bar, and a bit further down, a mini-mart, ideal for grabbing quick snacks or drinks. The peaceful, relaxed vibe of the property made it easy to unwind, with two beachfront restaurants within walking distance if you didn’t feel like cooking or renting a car.
Parking is conveniently located just steps from the condo, and we appreciated how effortlessly accessible everything was.
For anyone visiting Aruba, whether it’s your first time or you’re a seasoned traveler, this condo ensures a flawless experience. Pack your clothes and go! The management team provided excellent communication, offering insider tips on everything from grocery shopping to dining recommendations and excursions, like ATV tours, professional photo sessions, and champagne delivery. We rented via Airbnb, and while the listing marked it as “beachfront,” it’s technically a 6-minute walk (0.3 miles) to Eagle Beach. There is also a massive foreign-owned JOIA Aruba by Iberostar 5-star hotel under construction next to the 3-star La Quinta Beach Resort, both of which sit across from Eagle Beach. The Pearl is behind the hotel in a cal-de-sac / Dead-end street flanked by other condo complexes. If you’re looking for accommodations with sea and or beach views, this might not be the place—but the proximity to Eagle Beach is still excellent.
We truly loved every moment of our stay at Unit #24 at The Pearl Aruba, hosted by Rixt and Jose, and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, stress-free, and thoughtfully designed...
Read moreVery clean and generally quiet place. It was our first time in the small condo hotel in Aruba, and the major differences between it and large hotels were the absence of constantly shifting and drinking crowds and loud music. The staff is very friendly and helpful (thank you, Danni and Omar, for all your help!). The cozy inner yard has an excellent size pool with two waterfalls, a kids' pool, and a large jacuzzi. Our kids were playing in the pool all the time. Very convenient are large gazebos with outdoor dining furniture and brand new BBQs. There is also a small restaurant abd bar right on the properties. Literally, you don't need to go anywhere because there is your own backyard vibe. The Eagle Beach is about 5 minutes away. This is probably one of the best beaches in Aruba, super wide, very few people, beautiful white fine sand, lots of shade under trees, perfect waves, and it's stretching as far as you can see in both directions. You need to bring your own beach chairs that are supplied by the condo. You have to pass two active construction sites on the way to the beach, and there is dust and dirt on the road. It is annoying, but obviously, it will go away in several months. The beach will be more crowded once the Iberostar Joya fully opens next year. In the room, the fridge was very loud. Its humming was really annoying in the night. This is probably specific to rooms. There were loud parties in jacuzzi way beyond midnight a couple of times, but nothing else was disturbing us in the night.
Overall, this choice was probably the best value for money. We will definitely go there again. Highly recommended for both families and for...
Read moreWe stayed from May 3-7th. So 4 nights. We didn’t realize until check in that if it’s under 5 nights you don’t get daily room service. So that kind of sucked. The floor is got incredibly gross.
On our first day there we luckily checked in an hour early and blasted the ac the moment we got in. An hour or so later as we were headed out the power went out on the entire property and a few surrounding as well. Right after we just grocery shopped. There was no generator.. we got back and ended up not getting power till around 8/9 that evening. No one was available to speak to after a few hours of this going on. Luckily it came back because if it didn’t it was impossible to even sit in the condo let alone sleep.
I’d say the biggest issue with this place is the lack of 1. Generator and 2. Upper management. If you’re looking for somebody to actually answer questions or be there when things go on, don’t really expect that from this place.
Also the bartender leaves alot to be desired. He has such an attitude on his face the minute you approach him and barely acknowledges you. But depending on the guest, you’ll see him laughing and being their best friend.
The pool is nice but desperately needs to be cleaned. No reason alge/green stuff should be growing on the stools.
The chairs by the pool are probably the most uncomfortable but also have very weird orange stains on most of them.
Overall, the location is unmatched, I probably wouldn’t stay here again, but would recommend it if you can get past a few things...
