(At) Weena — Restaurant in Rotterdam

Was really surprised to pay 12€ for 0.5 Texels beer today, when asked the young girl to show me the price it was not there but apparently price is subject to change and it is different every day.. so the price is not on the menu..I really felt like an idiot when I had to spend 48€ on 4 x 0.5l beers!! I have been living in The Netherlands for 2 years now, never I have payed 12€ for a beer, but never no matter how exclusive and special the beer was. I don’t blame young girls working there as they are only serving the beers, but to anyone with common sense 12€ should be a trigger to ask the question if this is normal?

Apparently you need to ask the price of this beer in advance 🤣🤣

Please tell me this was a mistake so I can delete this review as I like to come here for a lunch.. Ridiculous and wish you all the best. Hoping to...

Truly one of the best places to go for breakfast or lunch!!

The place itself is a little bit on the edge of the city center, so the chances of getting a table without a reservation is high! Which is also why I love it so much. The interior itself is a little bit on the dark side, but subtile, it actually works well. We also like to go here with our 8months old son as it's there's enough space for the buggy or pram. As for the food, they have some hot and cold dishes. Price wise vs quality is very good as well..

Really nice place for after work drinks! Good vibe, great service! The food is normal dutch fried stuff you can find anywhere, and that's ok. A pity their English website doesn't mention you can book a table if your group is 6+ people! I thought they didn't take reservations and was a bit surprised when most of the tables were booked.
