Burger Club — Restaurant in Rotterdam

This burger restaurant was recommended to me by one of my colleagues. He recommended the Burger Club (BC) which is the winner of the best burger in Rotterdam 2016. It has Brioche, pancetta, Young mature cheese, chorizo Iberico, beef tomatoes, caramelized onion, jalapeños and BC sauce. Also you can choose 4 types of meat: M.R.IJ. Private Label (Local Maas-, Rijn-en IJssel cattle from the region), Iberico (semi-wild Iberico pig, originating from Extremadura (Spain), Wagyu from the Great Plains in Idaho and Moving Mountains which is a plant based burger patty. I went with the MRIJ beef. My partner ordered the Hot Ass which won 3rd place best burger in Rotterdam 2018. It has Brioche, grilled eggplant, goatcheese, grilled jalapenos, chorizo Iberico aioli, crispy onion and sundried tomatoes. We also ordered a side of Fries with Truffle Mayonnaise. Very bad service when ordering online. Placed an order today at 19:00 and it was delivered at 21:05. Ordered at Deliveroo and they only refund €2,-. Called the restaurant numerous times and they could only tell they were very busy. After almost two hours called them again and I expressed my displeasure and the girl (Nanet, seems to be the owner) hung up on me. Very rude especially when you are responsible for the place. Called them back again and got someone else on the phone. He told me the delivery guy left 15 min ago. Totally not true, because it’s only a 5 min ride. The delivery guy confirmed this. He also hung up on me so likely they don’t have any staff with manners. They didn’t even offer something like a drink or something. The burgers are good but with staff and service like this I wouldn’t recommend going here or...

I wanted to try something different from Ter Marsh, which is the best burger in town, so I went to Burger Club with three other friends. 45' after we order, which is a long time btw, the hamburgers started arriving and they smell delicious, but mine did not arrive... When I asked the waitress she told us that only three burgers were ordered, and when she went back to the kitchen to find out what had happened, someone start yelling at her... come on guys, it's the 21st century already...

Later on the owner told us, it's your mistake, not ours. I can order a new hamburger and it will take a while... Not gonna happen.
