Ok! Where to begin.... Let's start with 4 months ago. Takeway menu with a drink, burger and fries. At that time the mushroom burger was very under cooked. We called and they were very agreeable to send another burger to our choosing. For this we very much wanted to try their food again, see if we could cheer for improvement. Unfortunately we were yet again disappointed. This time with lame portions of fries that tasted cold... old... hard and were the recooked kind after going cold and go hollow inside. Maybe this was due to the fact that the order was late. Instead of 40-50 mins it took 70 mins and I had to call to inform when to expect the order to arrive. Maybe to recook the fries? Then the burger. Its wasn't anything to get excited over. Dry bun, ok toppings and it leaked all over the place. Sorry, but to charge 31 euros for this mediocre meal, never again! I'm sure the kitchen staff work very hard (which is what they told us last time). Though understand one thing. I work hard too to be able to have a nice take away meal. With inflation this is something many people have to see as luxury. To then give your customers such a dead bird in the sky... For customers who are considering to order here, please check the lesser kind reviews and consider if your hard earned money is deserved by...
Read moreThis was a rather disappointing experience. As a vegan I would like nothing more than being able to say that the food was amazing but that wasn't the case. The seasoned wedges clearly came from a bag out the freezer and most of them were not cooked properly. Definitely not worth €4,90. The 6 pieces of falafel tasted like the ones from Albert Heijn. They were small, dry, barely warm and they cost €5,90 :| Corn had smoked paprika on it while that wasn't stated on the menu and I just happen to hate smokey flavor. My friend didn't like the vegan cheese on her burger and €13,90 is pretty steep for just a small burger without fries or anything. The crispy wrap was pretty good but not something to write home about and the staff was nice enough to put the wedges and falafel back into the oven. Nothing bad to say about them. I'm just tired of spending over €60 euro (plus gas and parking) to just be disappointed by the food. They dare to ask high prices for things that aren't even freshly made and then receiving mediocre food at best. Cutting corners on ingredients and charging that amount of money for what we get can't be the way to long term succes. Its a shame really. Wish I had stayed at home to cook food ourselves which would be 1000x better. Definitely not...
Read moreAlrighty. There are a number of things about this place that can improve. We went there because I wanted to try this new place and the logo outside looks very nice and inviting.
Inside however there is a lot to be changed. The place is vegan but what speciality they have was very unknown. It's already a specific market you're aiming for but what distinguishes this place except it's vegan.
They have this no burger thing concept which is confusing with the no burber menus with stars and stuff as footnotes on a two half A4 pages. It is already very jammed with text, adding more stars and footnotes makes it very confusing. We trying to eat simple food not read a thesis.
Add some more variations and make the portions bigger. Raise the prices it's fine but the image always is that you'll have enough as the other places but the portions are very small. The eyes get satiated sooner than the stomach.
A nice location and the staff...
