I had a reservation from 1 PM to 3 PM. It was something both my girlfriend and I had been looking forward to for the whole week. Our train from Den Haag arrived with a 30' delay. We were not worried, as the reservation still allowed us to spend 1 hour and 20' with our favorite furry friends. However, when we arrived, a waitress told us that our table had been already given to other customers (without reservation), and that we had to leave the cafe' immediately. I explained that we had come on purpose and that the staff could have called us before giving our table away (our phone no. was attached to the reservation form). I further pointed out that half of the cafe' was empty, and that we could sit at least for a few minutes until other customers arrived, but the waitress was completely inflexible. She repeated that we could not sit there, and that we had to leave. In the meanwhile, at another table, kids were yelling and screaming, clearly unaware of the fact that cats' ears are much more sensitive than humans', without the staff telling anything to them, something we had already noticed in the past. We eventually left, deeply saddened and conscious that the priority for Pebbles's staff is to send true animal lovers (arrived on purpose from another city) away, while welcoming customers without any sensitivity towards their feline guests....
Read moreI stopped by the kitty-café for breakfast on a whim during my vacation trip, and I was thrilled to discover this hidden gem. The café exudes a peaceful atmosphere, both in terms of its decor and overall ambiance. The kittens seem to be extremely happy and content, which added to the charm. I was delighted when Pixel came over to greet me at my table. One kitten in particular, Luna, stole my heart with her mischievous grin as she lounged in her cozy little cave, observing the hustle and bustle of the café. And, of course, her Lemonade, Luna‘s Lemonade, was my favorite dish on the menu! The owners and staff radiate a sense of calm and tranquility, despite the high level of responsibility they have in caring for the guests, kittens, and food preparation. Overall, I highly recommend this cat café to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable experience. But remember - these little Furballs live there, it‘s their home, please enter it with respect...
Read moreOur experience was very disappointing. The cats are very cute, however, the waiters are very rude and you just don’t feel welcomed. We arrived at the cafe at 16:15 and until 16:40 no one came to take our order. We were constantly calling them and finally I went to order myself. The girl was really lost but the cafe was empty and they were just doing nothing so at that point , my conclusion is just that they didn’t want to work. At 17h the cafe was closing and another waitress came to tell us that they are closing in 2min. We asked if we can stay at least to finish our drinks , to what she replied “We want to close on time so please go and pay”. She was rude even when we went to pay , mentioning that “You have received your drinks 15min ago so you had time to finish”. I’ve been never treated so badly , and I will not come back...
