Pistache Halab — Restaurant in Rotterdam

If you’re a tourist DO NOT COME HERE. Was made to feel terrible and unwelcome. I tried to ask for recommendations as a foreigner and did not understand the Dutch terms on the menu like ‘ broojes ‘ etc - the waiter was very impatient and had an attitude problem didn’t want to explain anything or assist with recommendations. Note: to make things easier I said I don’t want a sandwich or bread and prefer like some lamb form of grill. He then suggested a lamb shawarma immediately and left to go make it without giving me the opportunity to ask about other options or if that’s really what I wanted. In essence I got forced to accept a dish that HE WANTED TO MAKE FOR ME, and not the one I wanted . On top of that, it’s the worse lamb shawarma I have ever eaten including those I’ve tried in Netherlands. It looks like he just wanted me to buzz off from the restaurant since I was only one person (all the tables were for more people) so maybe he wanted me to eat the easiest thing and get out so he can accommodate other people. But my food was terrible , it wasn’t even what I wanted to order, the waiter was rude and unprofessional / unhelpful and the whole experience was like they wanted me out of there. I see every table being served a range of good food and I was just thrown a simple wrap - horrible absolutely horrible.

PLEASE DO NOT COME HERE IF YOU DONT SPEAK DUTCH AND ARE NOT DUTCH.

What a great experience!! I enjoyed every single moment and every single detail in this restaurant. First comes first, the hospitality is in the air,you feel it from the first moment you enter the restaurant passing the door step; the design,the decorations,the staff and the food presentation will make it just a perfect experience for you and for sure you will visit it again and again

Another catching detail is the paintings on the walls,they are breathtaking. You see the beauty of history in such a modern modest restaurant. While waiting for the food,you enjoy the paintings and also the nice manners of the staff.

One thing I'd advise the management, they need to always make sure the wc is always working and ready, this time it was closed due to maintenance, this a real legitimate reason,but they need to prioritize such issues because it might refelct attitude of...

When I'm hungry, all the food is good (Arabic proverb). Upon entering, you expect a delicious taste, but unfortunately the taste is disappointing compared to the look. The first star was removed due to the cutting of chicken shawarma in the sandwich, which is closer to boiled than grilled. The second star was removed due to the lacks of spices in the chicken and the clarity of one type of taste in the ingredients, which is the taste of mayonnaise, mayonnaise is poor in taste for the accompanying grilled chicken (shawarma). The third star has been removed for the reason (kibbeh). The kibbeh is rich in extra meat (this is generous yes, but it is a lack of experience from the chef). In general, the restaurant operates commercially with the principle of speed at the expense of quality. the fourth star for the lacks of Wipes with the food. And the fifth, I am not the one who decides its fate. There are many reasons to remove it, but the generosity of Google remains .... I eat twice, once by going to his shop and once with the delivery service. With everything I mentioned, the shop is still there, and I hope it works to raise its standard with food.

Als ik honger heb, is al het eten goed (Arabisch spreekwoord). Bij binnenkomst verwacht je een heerlijke smaak, maar helaas valt de smaak tegen in vergelijking met de uitstraling. De eerste ster werd verwijderd vanwege het snijden van kipshoarma in de sandwich, die dichter bij gekookt dan gegrild is. De tweede ster is verwijderd vanwege het ontbreken van kruiden in de kip en de helderheid van één soort smaak in de ingrediënten, namelijk de smaak van mayonaise, mayonaise is slecht van smaak voor de bijbehorende gegrilde kip (shoarma). De derde ster is om de reden (kibbeh) verwijderd. De kibbeh is rijk aan extra vlees (dit is genereus ja, maar het is een gebrek aan ervaring van de chef). Over het algemeen opereert het restaurant commercieel met het principe van snelheid ten koste van kwaliteit. de vierde ster voor het ontbreken van doekjes bij het eten. En de vijfde, ik ben niet degene die over zijn lot beslist. Er zijn veel redenen om het te verwijderen, maar de vrijgevigheid van Google blijft .... Ik eet twee keer, een keer door naar zijn winkel te gaan en een keer met de bezorgservice. Met alles wat ik heb genoemd, is de winkel er nog steeds, en ik hoop dat het werkt om zijn standaard met eten...
