It is the best Italian restaurant in town!!! we live in the same street for three years and we regret it not to come there sooner. I mean seriously, not only the food is super delicious and locally authentic (not your typical Italian franchise with dutch tongue adjusment) but the service very warmly and attentive.
We were with three adults and my 6 years old son whom ate the whole spaghetti bolognese to the last spaghetto. The best for us was the aglio olio, the best I ever had in my life.
We were there for 2,5 hours from our antipasti to main course and the joyful of just talking to each other while enjoying the food and the wine. The portion is big so we dont have enough space for dessert but surely will come there for more and to finally try the dessert. Also an advice, come with empty stomach. They are Italian family with nonna and nonno and their children.
Maybe the location is a blessing in disguise. It is located in the corner of delftste building (do I write that correctly?) So right in the exposure but enough to hide it and give a serene atmosphere where time...

Was my first time there tonight, and Im from Rotterdam, location wise I think therefore its easy to miss (expecting a commuter spot) while its everything but that. If they would be in a main area they would blow every other Italian place out of the water, like I said: hidden gem. Will definitely be back.A family that eats together stays together 😅 is what I would say here, the mom being the star of the restaurant❤️ and the kids carry it on, old fashioned, way it should be. Thank you for an amazing dinner. (And excuse me for having to remind me to pay for the bottle of prosecco🤣😉, my dad covers the bill usually so I completely forgot🙈)....
Read moreThe restaurant interior looks more like a foyer of a theater instead of Italian restaurant. But nothing is what it likes. This is a really surprising Italian restaurant. Mom 82 is the only cook. Her daughter and son manage the restaurant. Daddy is also present and granddaughter. A lovely and passionate family restaurant. We started with carpaccio, burata to share, followed by the homemade stuffed pasta with shrimps, and rice with mushrooms. Delicious! Mains fileto, lamchops, steak hamburger, tuna. All dishes were amazing. And choose the ripasso in the glass. We highly recommend this restaurant. And the bill was very acceptable! We...
