First the good: The location is great, the food is not bad at all, the price point is a bit high but not unreasonable. Now the bad: The service is appalling, they are unfriendly, slow and arrogant. If the goal of the waiters is to make you feel unwanted they are very good at it.

The work culture is pretty bad too, i've seen the owner lady bark at the waitresses, so that culture trickles down all the way to the waitresses not being nice to the customers.

Too bad, but hey, when you want to have a drink or a bite at this park, this is the only option. so...

What a wonderful location and such enjoyable time we had here as a group of seven friends!

If I may add, by accident personnel charged us (we were with quite a large group) the wrong bill, one which was mistaken with another group. As I didn’t check the details, I wasn’t aware.

However they contacted us the same day to share that they had made a mistake. Within a week they refunded the (substantial) difference .

True Rotterdam entrepreneurship: professional, hospitable and honest!

Been there twice for lunch, first time with a kid (5 yo), second time as a couple. We enjoyed it a lot: places in the shadow under big trees in the park were exactly what we were looking for on a hot day. Good service and great food and drinks. One thing I found worth mentioning was the kids option to get a plate with bread (Kidsbordje), cheese, fruit and veggies: the alternative for the usually sweet of fried childrens options.
