Wawburger — Restaurant in Rotterdam

Even though I had to wait 45 minutes for a small burger 😂, the employees get a 5 star rating for how they dealt with the situation. The order receipt was lost and yes that can sometimes happen on a busy evening. For my wait I got an apology, extra burger, chicken wings, drink and they even wanted to add fries too. Honestly, I have never seen such a service and for that know that it's very much appreciated. I see alot of people become angry and disrespectful in my situation, but please show some humanity as people are doing their best to provide a service for you. Mistakes do happen and was impressed with the way it was handled. The burger and the rest were very tasty. Thank you and I would recommend it...

it is a huge shame that a "halal" restaurant says our discount is not valid during the evening meal during Ramadan. if you are fasting, we will charge you more. This is not the ramadan spirit, this is not muslim spirit. Besides, the taste of burger is not good but fried chicken is good.

---- EDIT ---- I think the response from the owner is not an excuse. I disagree with that. it is just opportunism from ramadan and muslim community.

Will you charge me extra if I invite 10 of my friends for dinner? or should I decide it myself to eat outside or at home during rush hour.

If a dutch/non-muslim restaurant does the same thing, I am sure the Muslim community would blame them with...

when ever a resturant write “halal” that’s mean they will charge you more money for nothing, I ordered a full size meal for an adult and they charge me even more than Macdonalds because of “halal” for a meal smaller than happy meal of Mac!!!!

The point is, The price that you have already charged is for a good size of meal, but with your tiny meals you force the customers to order 2 times.

It doesn’t make any sense when you compare a brand new restaurant ( wow ) as a first class flight, with an a huge international brand restaurant ( MAC) with a public transports, that’s funny 🤣
