Himalayan restaurant Sneek — Restaurant in Súdwest-Fryslân

This was so tasty that we went twice! (We were staying at a hotel in Sneek.) I didn't expect Sneek to have a great Indian/Napali/Bhutanese restaurant. So this was a very nice surprise.

First, we went for the deluxe menu, which had great meat. For my taste, I found the butter chicken pretty sweet so if you don't like sweet dishes I would recommend to go for another dish.

Second, we went for the Dal Bhaat, which has three different curries, and anda curry (I think). I really loved both of these dishes and they were my absolute favorites.

We are living on our boat in Friesland part time, and we are from San Francisco area where there are a lot of Indian restaurants. The Indian food we had tonight was some of the best I've ever had!! We split Butter Chicken and the Anda vegetable curry, and we ate it all... (Well, left a little rice, which is a shame because even the rice is great).

I cannot recommend this place enough. It's worth 10 stars, not just 5. Do not miss this place when you are in Sneek.

Highly recommend! I’m so HAPPY to have dined here. The food is delicious and authentic! The owners of this restaurant are wonderful and hospitable.
