I had dinner with a group of five here, we had the shared "proeverij" dishes. We received six small stews either veggie, meat or fish, which ones are a surprise and chosen by the chef. All the stews were unique and very tasty. The stews all came from different places worldwide and they varied from an irish Guinness stew, to a maroccan tajin to an indian curry. The food tasted great. It was nice to see that they prepared stews from different parts of the world. We were on one day trip, came from Amsterdam and we rented our bikes in Stavoren and managed to make a super nice loop with a lunch stop in Sneek. Stoof has table settings outside by the canal and as well indoor. It was really easy to find the place, it is just outside the very busy square, and still busy enough to enjoy people passing by. Friendly staff, cosy and nice interior and decorations, great selection of stews. We have opted for their tasting menu and got 5 different pots of stew to share in 4. Good amount of food and fun to discuss which stew was the favourite of each one. A suggestion is to have some devices to keep the stews warm after served while they are on the table, because when you get to the 5th stew, the temperature is not that hot anymore (it wasn't cold but...
