An Exceptional Culinary Experience Every Time!

Every time I visit Saint-Martin, I make it a point to dine at La Perle Bleu. This restaurant is a true gem, offering high-quality French and international cuisine, with refined and flavorful dishes. The experience I’ve had here has been nothing short of amazing, both in terms of taste and the impeccable service.

The warm and professional welcome, combined with the kindness, friendliness, and attentiveness of the staff, makes every visit special. Their empathy and dedication to customer satisfaction create a unique dining atmosphere. I also had the pleasure of meeting the owner, an extraordinary woman who manages her restaurant with passion and perfection. Her commitment to providing an exceptional experience is reflected in every dish and in the overall ambiance.

Unfortunately, I have noticed some customers, particularly some American tourists and a few foreign French visitors, whose expectations go far beyond what is reasonable and respectful. Saint-Martin is a small island with limited resources, and it’s crucial to appreciate the hard work of restaurateurs who strive to provide the best experience possible. This restaurant has nothing to prove and deserves a clientele that knows how to recognize its excellence without making excessive demands.

If you are looking for a place where quality, taste, and a warm welcome come together perfectly, La Perle Bleu is an unmissable spot. I will keep coming back again and again, with the same...

Fabulous food, fabulous location, fabulous atmosphere, fabulous service! The only negative comment is that there is NO street signage. We got lost multiple times, trying to find the location. It is behind the yellow-colored bank building, down an alley. The staff said they have mentioned several times that signs are needed but the owners have not made one. As a result, we had the entire restaurant to ourselves. I hope they don't go out of business for lack of a sign. My husband and I were there for dinner. The ambience is delightful: one of the few restaurants with white tablecloths and tasteful lighting. We were brought an amuse-bouche of pumpkin soup which was divine. We shared the "crazy salad" (crab cake, almonds, raisins, and pomegranate). Delicious. I ordered grilled mahi mahi for an entree. My husband had the "fisherman's pot of the day" which was kind of like a bouillabaisse. Both excellent. We were too full for dessert. Our server was Janina, who doubles as a preschool teacher by day. She was wonderful. I have zero complaints (except the sign). Oh, and the menu is not available on line, so I am posting a photo of it below. Our bill was approx $160, of which probably $50 was wine. We will probably go back...

Sunday was my daughter’s 2nd birthday we were so excited to eat at this place because it wasn’t the first time we had been there it was my second time, but when I got there things wasn’t up to my expectations. We sat at the table for about five minutes before we were handed a menu the waitress took forever to take our order. After ordering appetizers and finish, we were served main course with the same dirty plates on the table. From there it went down hill. I was so angry I couldn’t even speak. I asked for my daughters birthday cake so we could sing happy birthday. The cake came to the table with no side plates and no spoons. I kindly asked the waitress please if she can go and get some afterward, she bought side plates , but still no spoon and knife to cut the cake. The service overall was very very very poor, and I am very disappointed. Because again as mentioned above, it’s my daughter’s second birthday, and I was excited when I got there, but not as much as when I left. My message to you is: I’ve been in this field for about 10 years, train your staff before putting them on the floor to work. And even if the restaurant is busy, I personally believe that staFF should always acknowledge customers once they enter the...

Very nice experience... randomly selected this restaurant rather last minute on a Saturday night off google maps. The location was a bit hard to find, but was hidden in a quaint and beautiful spot on the water. Meals and cocktails were very good and wait staff was pleasant. We had the restaurant nearly all to ourselves for the majority of our meal and then shared it with only a couple other tables and everyone was friendly adding to the experience. While the service was a bit slow which is rather typical on the island, we did not mind since we were at our leisure on a beautiful evening and thoroughly enjoyed the dining experience and ambiance!

Lovely atmosphere on the Simpson Bay Lagoon. Service was good, menu is versatile. The free sample of pumpkin soup and baguette was delicious! Crispy escargot in absinthe sauce was unique and delicious also, though a bit pricey at $17 for 6. Drinks were reasonably priced at $9, glass of wine $8. My duck breast in raspberry sauce ($31) was plentiful but quite tough, although tasty. Lamb shank ($36) was also tasty and a large portion but quite fatty. For the prices, we were disappointed. And there was a "service charge" added to the bill.
