REVEIL MATIN SXM BREAKFAST & LUNCH — Restaurant in Saint Martin

What a wonderful spot! It’s right off the main road in Simpson Bay - you can’t miss it. We were definitely hungry when we arrived and we were not disappointed! The food was spectacular along with the service.

We started with two of their specialty coffees. They were a bit sweet for me but my boyfriend loved them both. Next, we tried the Nutella crepe (we shared). It was spectacular! Not too sweet but definitely chocolatey and the crepe was made perfectly.

For our main course, my boyfriend got the “La Snooze” combo. It consisted of French toast, waffles, seared apples, a sweet sauce, and a side of yogurt parfait. He LOVED it! It was definitely quite a lot of food, but my boyfriend didn’t mind. I got the bacon, veggie, Brie, and avocado omelette. It was sooo good! I love a good omelette and they definitely brought their A game. It came with crispy skin potatoes and we got a baguette on the side. The toasted baguette was a show stopper. Grilled to perfection with butter and jams.

Needless to say, we highly recommend a stop at Reveil Matin next time you’re in town! We will definitely be back next time we are here and plan to make it a “must do” for every time we come.

Lastly - thanks to the owner for stopping by! He was very kind and made sure everything we were happy with our meals and service. A very nice touch!

Unfortunately this is one of those places that is a tourist trap. They take cash only so that you can’t dispute the terrible experience you’re gonna get with your card company just be aware of that. They get you to order and then make you wait over an hour for your food. We are here on vacation, not to wait around and smell the sewer stink coming from the area around the restaurant. I was confused since the place was essentially empty when we arrived. Not to mention the male server was rude from the start which should’ve been our first red flag. We got the coffee we ordered but after that he just walked by us 20 times in the span of 1 hour, never stopped by to update us, and no food in sight. Just terrible service all around. We finally said we’re leaving here’s 10 dollars (more than what the coffee costed). He just stood there, and instead of apologizing for the wait he looked at us with vacant eyes as if he didn’t know what went wrong. All he muster up was “that’s not how it works.” Excuse me? We will not pay for food that we haven’t received. We walked away after that and left. I’m sure we would’ve gotten our food cold eventually. If you do decide to come make sure to set aside 2-3 hours to accommodate the restaurants needs since that’s what we’re here to do in...

Dined in for breakfast | brunch as a recommendation from the Baker's Suites Hotel Staff where I was staying.

I believe this is the best breakfast | brunch restaurant on I tried several during a nine (9) day visit, and there is no need to even bother with breakfast anywhere else 😊!

Be aware, though, this is a popular spot. I was seated quickly with the choice of either inside or out. The food was excellent with large portions. The professional and friendly service is on display for all customers.

I enjoyed the best French Toast (That I had in a long time), Yummy Fresh Home Fries, Eggs Any Style Cooked Way I Liked, and without a doubt Fresh Fruits, all dishes were fantastically tasting and presented.

I highly recommend anyone trying out this place. I’m 100% going to revisit when I return
