Naruto Sushi Ramen & Asian Cuisine — Restaurant in Saint Martin

I visited Siint Marteen on a vacation trip with my son this week. I stayed at the Hills residences and Naruto was recommended as one of the first few restaurants open to the community. It’s literally a 2 minute walk from my stay so I decided to check out. If you’re a true anime fan this is the place for you and overall the experience was amazing! I was there every night during my stay with my 5 year old son and when I say the food and atmosphere was splendid! When I initially looked at some of the reviews, I noticed that this is a place that just opened and may have had those “challenging “ opening conditions that every restaurant owners endure. The staff was super friendly and made my son and I feel welcomed each time. The staff works as a team and what I can say the food is incredible. Their ramen is to die for I mean the flavors are better than what I experienced in Florida. The drinks are inspiring with a touch of that island 🏝️ feel! My son had the chicken wings without the Korean bbq sauce , as he is simple. Every ask they were willing to accommodate and as a mom traveling with a little one this mean a lot. Even if you’re not staying at The Hills residences, you must run to this place ! The vibe, music, even the sushi was sooo good . I would recommend this place to any local and tourist it will not disappoint. Just remember to be nice and courteous of staff and the challenges a new restaurant has when they first open! My son and I will always remember this place and it will be one of our “go to” places going forward when we visit ! Thank you Naruto for making this...

We had dinner at Naruto with a party of 5. We arrived on time for our reservation and asked for water while being seated. We received our drinks but still no bottled water for the table. We had to ask 3 more times before we received water at which time they asked us to place all food orders (apps & entrees). We weren’t ready to do that so we placed appetizer orders at that time.

We each ordered an appetizer. My edamame came out wrong, and 2 appetizers arrived 20 mins after all the others. We placed our entree orders and waited and waited and waited. After 50 mins, I got up to ask a server about it because if they hadn’t started our order at that point we were just going to leave and eat elsewhere. Her response to me was that she told me we should’ve ordered everything when we sat down and she repeated twice that she told me. My problem was that the restaurant wasn’t busy and They appeared to have plenty of staff. It seemed to be a severe time management issue. Our food was good once we finally got it. Our dinner was 3 hours…for sushi! The lack of service and dismissive attitude means we won’t be visiting Naruto in Simpson Bay...

Been on Sint Marteen for just over a year now and so happy to have found this sushi 🍣 restaurant.

We really appreciated they offered lots of options that were focused on fresh ingredients and didn’t include fried components or cream cheese.

We had a basic tuna avocado 🥑 roll, a 8 Tails Tako roll and a Yellowtail fire roll. All were delicious, prepared perfectly with fresh ingredients and with a perfect ingredient to rice ratio.

They let us taste a few of the cold sakes and we selected the Saturn cloudy sake. Which went perfectly with our late afternoon sushi snack !

Jovana was our server. She was brilliant. Helpful and giving us time to understand the menu while happy to help with recommendations.
