Me and my partner have recently discovered this place via an advertisement and decided to pay a visit on a tuesday evening. We were greated by friendly staff and were appointed to our table. The table is set up with an electric grill, and does not have a charcoal or gas-powered grill as would be custom in Korea. It also does not have the iconic chimneys, but fortunately that does not hinder the experience. You also get proper meat scissors, original korean metal chopsticks, and tongs for turning the meat over, which you don't get everywhere so that is a plus! You are alotted 2,5 hours to eat, where you can order 3 dishes per person at your table and with breaks of 10 minutes in between, which works well. It is unfortunate that the side dishes also count in this system, but that seems to be a dutch influence , which you encounter at all other bbq places too. There is a great selection of different cuts of meat, some traditional side dishes like kimchi, pickled radish, pickled onion, raw garlic,etc. You also have some snacks and other dishes available on the side, such as jeon, soups, and sushi. Some of these dishes have been altered in flavour strength to appeal more to the dutch , which is a shame but very understandable. We were very pleasantly suprised by the generous and very tasty cuts of meat and definitely had a feast while staying at Kogi. I recommend trying all the cuts of meat at least once, as you will find many flavourful options. After 5 rounds we were stuffed and finished off with the mango bingsu. This was a very refreshing ending, although the mango was not too ripe yet, it was still tasty however! The drinks selection was also fine, with your regular soda's, beers, cocktails etc, but also the availability of cass, soju and makgeolli! All in all, we had an amazing food experience, and this is definitely the best korean bbq experience you can get outside of Korea. It is definitely worth your time and money!

We visited Kogi in Sittard to try their Korean BBQ all you can eat, and overall the experience was very positive. The restaurant has a modern and cozy atmosphere, with wooden tables, soft lighting, and touches of neon that create a pleasant and relaxed setting. The staff was friendly and helpful: as soon as we sat down, they asked if it was our first time, and kindly offered to explain how the menu and grill work. We went for the all you can eat option, which included a good selection of meats, grillable vegetables, dumplings, and even some Japanese food like sushi. The marinated meats were definitely the best—tender, flavorful, and well-seasoned. One small downside we noticed was that we were a group of seven sharing a single grill, which made cooking a bit slow at times. It would have been more convenient with two grills for a group that size. Drinks are not included in the menu, but overall the value for money is fair. Booking through their website is recommended, especially on weekends, as the place can get quite busy. All in all, Kogi is a great choice if you’re in Sittard and in the mood for tasty, authentic, and well-organized Korean BBQ.

We saw this new place while shopping and I was looking and the manager ran outside to give me a flyer! He was so kind so I made a reservation for the next day. The food was delicious. I loved the black pepper beef, galbi, and the seafood pancake the best. You order by QR code on your phone and it’s all together in the system. Each person gets 3 items per order and then 10 minute break in between orders. All you can eat and we did just that. Everything was seasoned perfectly. The melon bingsu is very good; it’s extra but it’s worth it. It’s the first time I’ve seen bingsu around here. Service was attentive, friendly and fast.

Om het eens te sommeren is dit onze ervaring;
