Drinks: Jarrito guava and cappuccino. Cappuccino had a good balanced taste for coffee and a great foamy milk.

Starters: We ordered the garlic mushrooms for starters. We found a fly was cooked in with the mushrooms. When we alerted the waiter, he was just suprised but did not apologize or told us what they will do to componsate.

Main course: tango menu - 3 different cuts of beef with vegetables, salad and chips. None of the meat was exceptionally good in flavour. The textures of the meat ranged from being too soft and felt like eating jelly to having to chew really hard. I did not like the salad much, the vegetables all tasted like broccoli and the carrots where also greatly varied in hardness. Chips would have been amazing if they were salted.

I had a glass of red wine that was full in flavour and tasted really well with the red meat.

We felt like some nice food and decided to go out to this restaurant which is around the corner for us. We entered and talked to one of the staff to get a table, we waited 15 minutes for the menus to arrive… The staff overall is quite rude and unmotivated which was not very nice to communicate with.

Eventually half of us ordered tapas as main, and the other half ordered a main. We waited some 30 minutes for the tapas to arrive and loong after that was finished, about 45 minutes later, the mains of the other 2 arrived so we basically ate separately! (see picture)

When we adressed this issue to the staff they were not showing any empathy or interest which was quite frustrating. I don’t write a bad review easily, and specifically have never even been in a situation like this, but to cut it short, it was an unpleasant experience and I wouldn’t recommend to have...

Very rarely do I write negative reviews about restaurants, but this place certainly deserves it.

I ordered their rid-eye steak and indicated to them how I would like it cooked. The steak was served on a tiny plate elliptical plate. The steak was small in quantity, fragmented into many pieces, fatty, tough in texture and not cooked as I requested. When I complained, they simply removed the dish, re-heated it and returned to me. The waiters did not seem in the least interested to put things right.

The marketing pictures of their food bear little resemblance how it is actually presented to customers and I believe to be very misleading.

Finally, their payment system does not recognise British debit cards which are accepted throughout the world and indeed in most places in Holland.
