Burgers, Beers and Blues Texel — Restaurant in Texel

A bit pretentious. It's really a bar that serves burgers, but the menu and the entourage make it appear to be more than that. We ordered a carafe of rosé, and when I asked the waiter what we were drinking, she said 'I don't know, we just buy this stuff in large quantities to sell (!) to our guests'. She said she'd pass the question along, but never returned with the answer. I'd say the staff is friendly, but a bit superficial. They served a burger to my son that turned out to be raw.... My burger was OK though. My girlfriend doesn't eat meat, so she had the filled zucchini. A lot of cheese and honey, not much vegetables: it was filled with only cauliflower, which was a bit of a bummer. Confronted with the (clearly visible) uncooked burger, we were told they'd inform the kitchen. That was it. All in all not a bad restaurant, but we will not be going back. Sorry! Really cosy and good looking bar/restaurant. Every single member of the staff was super friendly. Nice variety of food and specials. Fast and good service specially considering we were there with a group of six and a little one and most of our group were English or Spanish speaking.

And most important a special thanks for the super friendly lady who, even the place was fully booked and we didn't have a reservation, arranged a table for our group so we could have dinner. Appreciated a lot!

Everything was AWESOME!! We arrived after skating through some deep puddles with wet feet and the staff were nice enough to let us warm our wet shoes up whilst we sampled a small selection of their huge beer list and enjoyed their Hot As Hell Burger and Lamb Burger, both delicious. I had a side of jalapeno hot sauce with my lamb burger which went epic with the fries. The staff were so lovely and funny, the vibe was super chill and the blues music complemented it all.
