If you are looking for an authentic Indonesian food, you eat in the right restaurant! The place : It's cozy, comfy, home but yet also classy. It's not too big but it is big enough if you come with big groups or want to have a party there, because they also have a special venue in the back of the restaurant so you can have your own private party or gathering separate from the restaurant visitor. The service : The staff and the chef were friendly and you might have to wait a while for your orders, especially when they are fully booked. The food : I recommend ->Nasi goreng kambing, chef Reza cooked perfectly so you'll not smell the strong kambing smell, -> Sate kambing, the meat is tender and juicy and the sauce complete the taste, you can add extra raw it if you want more spicy ->Sambal goreng terong/aubergine, this is one of my a classic and traditional favorite food, though what they made is not to spicy for me, but still it's yummi ->Sambal goreng udang/garnalen, if you are a fan of a shrimp in spicy sauce, you should try this one -> Rendang, the meat is tender and rich in flavor, it's a real Indonesian rendang and not just an "Indonesian rendang with Holland taste". So if you are happens to be in Den haag / The Hague and you are craving for an authentic Indonesian food, Jeremiah Restaurant is worth your craving!

Berempah – A Flavorful New Addition to The Hague’s Food Scene Berempah is a new Indonesian restaurant in The Hague, located not far from the city center, and it’s definitely worth a visit. The place brings a fresh and authentic take on Indonesian cuisine, with everything made fresh to order and served in generous portions. You can really taste the care and tradition behind each dish. Their Nasi Goreng Kambing is an absolute standout — rich, flavorful, perfectly spiced, and has that amazing smoky aroma that makes it unforgettable. It’s the kind of dish you’d come back for. The rest of the menu also reflects a deep appreciation for Indonesian flavors, all presented with a modern yet homey touch. The staff were warm and welcoming, and service was generally good. However, one thing I did notice — and it’s worth mentioning — is that the level of attention given to guests wasn’t consistent. Guests who looked more “well-off” seemed to get more personal engagement (like being asked how the food was), while others just got polite smiles. A small detail, but something that shouldn’t be overlooked, especially in such a promising new spot. Overall, Berempah is a great place with serious potential — tasty food, cozy vibes, and hopefully soon, equally great service for everyone.

Dining at the Indonesian restaurant Berempah in Den Haag has been an amazing experience. We truly enjoyed the atmosphere and the exceptional quality of the food we ordered. This time, we tried Bebek Goreng Bumbu Hitam, fried duck with black sauce. We loved the authentic taste that made me feel at home. Chef Reza, who has been an inspiration to me, also came to greet us and ensured our dinner was perfect. To top it off, we were thrilled to receive his recipe book as a bonus. We will definitely return to try his other signature dishes. We wish Berempah continued success. As an Indonesian living in the Netherlands, I can confidently say it is a highly recommended Indonesian restaurant. The best of the best!

A Must Try in Den Haag!

If you're craving delicious, authentic Indonesian food in Den Haag, Berempah by Chef Reza is the place to go!

I recently had the pleasure of dining there and was truly impressed by the variety on their menu; from classic favorites like Beef Rendang, Sate Ayam, the Ayam Goreng Cabe Ijo, delicious! To more unique and regional dishes that aren’t always easy to find outside Indonesia.

I also heard the Nasi goreng kambing is one of the best dishes, I will go back to try this dish.

Each dish is packed with rich, balanced spices just like how it’s made back home. The food is full of flavor, freshly made, and beautifully presented. The portions are generous, and considering the quality and taste, the prices are very reasonable. You get great value for your money.

The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, and the service is warm and friendly. It felt like a little piece of Indonesia right here in The Hague.

I highly recommend Berempah by Chef Reza to anyone looking for an unforgettable Indonesian food experience. Whether you're Indonesian or just a fan of the cuisine, this spot...
