I fell in love with this little cafe almost immediately.
Location: It’s tucked inside a park right next to a kids playground. They have ample outdoor seating and provide pillows and blankets for added comfort when sitting outside. The inside seating includes a cozy couch corner with board games for kids to play.
Food: The cafe has its own vegetable garden and the food that is harvested from the garden is served in their meals. The menu is small but the food is very good.
People: The staff was friendly and helpful. They also had a musician playing jazz music outside which was such a treat. He apparently gives concerts at this cafe once in awhile and his concerts always sell out.
Work ability: there aren’t a lot of options to plug in your laptop here. However, I did find one outlet near the couch if needed. So I wouldn’t recommend this cafe for those needing a place to work all day. But if you need a change of scenery for a few hours, then I would highly recommend this place! It’s peaceful, quiet, surrounded by nature, and filled with...
Read moreAwful service and very rude owner. We have booked the back yard for a kids birthday party. When we arrived nobody was there to explain where we sit etc. People were coming for the party and the waitresses sent them away telling there is no party there! We had to run after the waitresses to get to order. Although it was agreed to bring menu’s to order (when we booked the place) they only offered a fixed lunch because their kitchen was too busy! They couldn’t bring us hot water to prepare formula milk for a baby. On top of all we have brought a birthday cake and they refuse to let us cut it (not even to put it on the table) because they only serve their own cakes. Although they could have let us know about it beforehand we ordered their cake and asked at least to have our own next to it for photos but they refused saying they are not a picnic area (we spent around 300 euros there for the party). Hygiene is also bad even in this covid-19 days, they don’t clean the tables and they let anybody from the park into their toilets which are...
Read moreSo we went there because it looked so beautiful but as we know, looks arent everything. The waiters are absolutely incompetent, they take forever to take your order (even if there were at least 6 workers for not even 10 tables), they dont speak english properly and don't know anything about the food they serve. For example, we asked if there are raisins in the cakes and he said it was just apple - there were raisins. Also charching 5€ for a plain toast with cheese and giving it fancing names does not take away from the fact that it didn't taste good at all. To pay we had to go inside - which we had to ask for, and they weren't competent enough to listen to our food orders so we had to repeat it and they couldn't even calculate the right money to give back. Over all, it looks beautiful but the services...
