Phad Thai — Restaurant in The Hague

We stayed in the nearby apartment building for four nights. Because we were impressed by the good food on our first visit, we went to Phad Thai every subsequent evening and for lunch on the day we left. The food there was perfect for us. The ingredients can be combined, you can choose what you want, e.g. tofu with shrimp. We bought some more for the long train journey home. The food is prepared by Thai chefs and is authentic and very good. My girlfriend is Thai and confirms this. If needed, the spiciness can be adjusted, which is very good; after all, few Europeans can tolerate Thai spiciness. It was very well attended every evening and many people also picked up food to go. Bad services, since it looks like Thai Express in Canada I thought of it needed payment first. I tried to do it but I was asked to take my seat and it wasn't busy but the waiter just ignore me. Apparently there different kind of pad Thai served here so I picked the original one. I asked for spicy since traveling to Europe I haven't had any. And it was really spicy. I was shocked at first. But as I got more bite, my tongue just getting used to it. as an amsterdammer where we expect good service, our day here blew my expectations.

our server (jonas, hope i got your name right) was nothing less than spectacular. friendly, outgoing, helpful and the kind of people we need more of in our lives. words cant describe how good the overall experience was, but numbers can - 10/10

food was amazing, portion "looked" small but was more than enough for an asian price to food ratio was pretty good aswell
