16-10-2015 I had dinner with a friend and we had high expectations for the food. We were not disappointed! Very nice personnel too. Once you are inside, the atmosphere and seating is actually much nicer as you would expect when looking from the outside and soon you will forget the outside world. What I liked in particular was that nothing seemed a problem if you had other wishes, even if you suggested other things that weren't on the menu. I asked for three possible dishes which weren't on the menu, only one was not there! I ended choosing from the menu except for dessert, I needed ice cream and got it. Also a lot of daily fresh suggestions outside the regular menu which the waiter is happy to tell you about and explain. They don't speak fluently Dutch, so some patience in communication required and it only adds to the charm of the whole experience.

We waited for about an hour between each course on a Monday evening with only a few tables occupied. The starters didn’t arrive at the same time, so we were already done with one when the other arrived 45 minutes later. The burrata we paid almost 20 euros for was dressed with literally two cherry tomatoes cut in half. For the main course, their special pumpkin and sage ravioli was quite bland and the sauce was nonexistent, only a ricotta foam that instantly melted away. The taste was quite sweet with nothing to balance it. The desserts were nice, but a 13 euro wine glass we ordered was only topped up with the last bit of the bottle and served as half a portion. Overall, the price / quality ratio was quite off. The only stars are for the really sweet waiters who were trying their best as the restaurant was clearly understaffed. All short a very fine meal Is there room for improvement? Yes, the lamb filet was tastefull, but in my opinion could be a bit more tender, perhaps sous vide it at 57 deg. For 1-3 hours would achieve just that. Goal is Tender and pink filet of lamb, Temperature and time depends on age, quality and cook's preference .
