I was walking past this restaurant recently which reminded me of what happened with us some time ago. it is very similar to one of the reviews I read here.

We were new to the Netherlands touring The Hague for the first time. I was with my kid, wife, a friend, his wife and his two kids. In the evening, the kids got hungry and we decided to have dinner outside. Looked through the ratings of restaurants nearby and decided to go to this restaurant.

Once we enter, we saw decent interior, empty tables, few guests and a man (Dutch). I checked if we can get a table. He replied in a firm voice, “Not available”. Then I asked him if it is possible for us to wait and then get a table. The weather outside was really cold for us. He again replied (this time slightly impolite), “No”. He then went inside which could be a kitchen area or something .

As we were getting out, a lady enter and greeted us. She asked if we are looking for a Table to which I replied “yes”. She asked us “please wait, I will be back soon” and went inside the same room. As we were waiting this man came back and started yelling ( yes literally shouting) at us. He said, “ I asked you to get out the why are you all still here?” I saw the lady and pointed out that she asked us to wait here. He shouted, “ if I told you that there are no seats then you have to go out.”

We rushed out immediately, completely appalled by what happed. Since then I obviously made sure to never go there again. It is possible that all the seats were reserved, it was a bad day from him but treating...
