Sint-Joris en de Draeck — Restaurant in The Hague

By no means is this our first visit to Sint Joris en de Draeck and is is never a disappointing visit. The staff are always very friendly, the manu has a good selection which is sure to have something for everyone, my particular favourite starter is the delicious French Onion Soup. In the early 2010s I was a regular client. Passing by, I returned for a quick bite at the bar. It remained the typical 'neighbourhood' pub where one, as 'nonlocal' client, may definitely feel an outsider. Everybody knows each other and when not, one may feel looked at as a 'strange animal'. All in all the new staff is kind though. So if you want to have a real 'Haagenese' experience, and a good beer, , I recommend...

This a a really nice, small, brown local pub. There are several speciality beers to have had here. Not quite suited for larger groups I think, and a bit out of the way to give it a 10/10 which is what I personally, really like.

The hamburgers here have quite a bit of garlic sauce, but the bread is (I am told) locally made, though...
