I recently stopped into the store while on a tour in The Netherlands, Belgium, and France. My rear wheel was slowly leaking and I requested a new valve as the wheel was a tubeless setup. The shop was busy and they determined that the only resolution was to put a tube in it and send me on my way. I protested as the wheel build was very expensive and set up as tubeless for good reason (that I am heavy, the load on my bike was heavy, and that I have often gotten pinch flats before converting to tubeless.) The folks in the shop disregarded my wishes for the valve change and put in the tube anyway. I confess that I do not know Dutch but I felt like I communicated what I needed. I think they made fun of me as I was leaving. I really enjoyed every moment of my bike tour of the region, except for this visit. Right or wrong, I had a specific request that they did not honor and my local bike shop here in the states agreed with me. To the credit of the shop, I did not have any more problems with the tire so I cannot leave a bad review, but I wish I was treated with a little more respect. We live on the same planet and I assume that we share a similar love for cycling. Thanks for getting me back...

Een flinke tijd geleden hier geweest, maar denk er eigenlijk nu pas aan om een beoordeling te schrijven. Door een raar tikkend geluid in mijn achterwiel naar deze fietsenmaker gegaan. Ter plekke uitgelegd wat er aan de hand was, de reparateur bood aan om er direct een nieuwe standaard op te zetten, alles tezamen voor maximaal 50 Euro; als het meer zou worden zou hij me eerst bellen voor goedkeuring.

Na een SMS te hebben ontvangen dat mijn fiets klaar was, kwam ik mijn fiets ophalen en moest ik 53 Euro afrekenen. Ik gaf aan dat ik het raar vond hier niks van te hebben gehoord, maar hij wimpelde dit weg met 'ach, het was maar een paar euro meer'. Dit klopt, maar het was niet onze afspraak, en dit vond ik gek. Maar vooruit, het was inderdaad maar een paar Euro.

De reden dat ik echter totaal ontevreden ben over dit bedrijf is dat hij me er na het afrekenen op wees dat de kogellagers in mijn achterwiel kapot waren; dit veroorzaakt een tikkend geluid in het achterwiel en kost een paar honderd Euro om te vervangen... Dit tikkende geluid was dus precies waar ik de fiets voor langsbracht!

Na het afrekenen word ik er dus nog even fijntjes op gewezen dat er nog een duurdere reparatie nodig is (waarvan de kosten dusdanig hoog zijn dat ik maar een nieuwe fiets heb gekocht). Het is me tot de dag nog een volledig raadsel wat er dan wel aan mijn fiets 'gerepareerd' is, maar wat mij wel duidelijk is, is dat ik hier nooit...

I bought a second hand bike from here, they had a wide collection and great customer service. They were very honset about thr good and bad of the bike and things to look out for. They made reccomednationa about servicing the bike and what to do in case of problems/malfunctions. They also gave a sweet gift for me at the end, whoch was really a nice surprise. Overall very happy with the bike...
