Karakter Tilburg — Restaurant in Tilburg

We went for breakfast and it was absolutely excellent! It consisted of a board with a small pot of yoghurt sprinkled with granola and huge blueberries.; a massive grainy whole meal bun filled with ham, cheese and cucumber/salad with a tasty dressing; a croissant with jam and accompanied by a chilled glass of fresh orange juice. There was an option to add a fried egg for 1€ supplement. We ordered coffee and tea as well and had a feast which lasted us all day! Very good value, beautifully fresh and attractively presented and friendly staff. Will certainly return next time...

Absolutely terrible experience at KARAKTER. Believe me, folks, I’ve seen a lot of bad restaurants, but this one takes the cake. Waited an hour and a half – can you believe it? And the food, oh, the food was disgusting. Overcooked, slimy vegetables, burnt meat, and something unidentifiable on the plate. A complete disaster. Went there for dinner on a Sunday night at 8:00pm. I made a reservation, but there were two free tables to choose from. We had two Karakter burgers; perfectly cooked and a good size, also comes with perfectly cooked fries and a tiny side salad. Everything was perfect, including the service.
