Cafe Averechts — Restaurant in Utrecht

Non-commercial bar, music venue and restaurant (sunday) in a full hipster organizational style. The bar and small scale venue are completely run by volunteers and profits go to charity. No boss, no managers, no payments or bonus, but the brilliant athmospere (and low prices) completely compensate the very informal style. Feels like home in a minute. One of the safest and cosiest places in Utrecht.

Beware: the Coronacrisis did have a great impact on the number of staff members (volunteers). They say they are working on it. So check if they're open before you go...

Wow, I saw a Jam session musicians party. Hard rocking blues songs and many improvisation around. Musicians was so unique in presenting their own stuff. May be, it was hard to fill lineup right on the way, but I didn't feel any moment, when I missed something.

And what about cafe... That's probably the best place for local cozy parties, with welcoming employees and True-priced...

Nice place but terrible treatment by some of the staff. The performer had stopped and I was talking to a friend, and he criticised me for not paying attention. I was paying more attention than the majority of the people there when he was actually performing. But whatever. I'll give him the benefit of the doubt and might check it out...
