Café Ledig Erf — Restaurant in Utrecht

A great cafe with a great selection of nice food and drinks. Staff is friendly and very nice. However, when they do not have soap in the toilets, and after asking twice about it, the answer you get is "sorry, we are really busy", it is a bit disappointing. It is really problematic for a place that serves food not to have soap in the wc, not to check it regularly and ignore it repeatedly. It is true that they are very busy on weekends, especially during warm days, but fast service should not come at the expense of sparing 1-2 minutes for hygiene. I do not ususally write reviews for places, but this time I wanted to because this is a really nice place, and soap should be at the top of the priority list for its staff especially when they are...

Nice place to catch up with friends with some beers. Might even be a suitable place for meeting / bringing a (first?) date. There's a movie theatre across the street (mostly play semi-mainstream arthouse movies I think, like a Tarantino movie for instance) which could make a nice dating-combo... Anyways... The pub definitely is a great place. Haven't tried the food so I can't really judge it. And I don't think it's very practical for large (more than 5 or 6 people) groups, especially inside the pub. In summer, when they have a pretty large outside-area with tables you might have better luck...

Unfortunately they let their customers work. The process of order with the qr code is just disrespectful for the customers. I don’t think there is anyone who prefers this method over real human beings taking the order and choosing by having a real menu in one’s hand. The food and drinks came quickly, but were nothing special. Although the owner saves money in form of wages, everything was still Pricey and the staff that was there didn’t seem very enthusiastic...
