A recommendable place! It's a pretty place and beautifully designed. Best to have eaten before 21:00 since after there will be mostly left overs, especially things like pizza become soggy.

We started somewhat over 20:00. The welcome is warm and excitedly received, it is noticeable though that around 21:00 most wanted to go home by behaviour. The atmosphere here is amazing, one of the better places to be with large groups. For any purpose really apart from a fancy dressed date occasion.

The food was mostly Asian based with Dutch stuff mixed as pancakes, fried snacks, ice-cream. As vegan I would skip this place though since your options then are quite limited. I liked the wok a lot, I was pleasantly surprised by the Bao's and the coffee. Drinks are self service, have not encountered such good quality and choices coffee in an all-you-can-eat place.

I'm part of the very few who pays attention to detail, I don't know which electrician has been working there, but hanging things at the same height should be one of your basic qualities. The lamps all hang on different heights and that is super annoying to me, yet that's something usually only bothering me and none other since they...

A dish with cheese in was wrongly marked as vegan. When we proceeded to tell this to a manager, he made up a million excuses about this, including saying that the place is not suitable for vegans, that the bread has milk in, the vegetables are not cooked separately by the meat, etc. He went even further saying that some people consider vegan being vegetarian and a lot of other BS. When he finally apologised, he said it was a misunderstanding because of his English... A Dutch friend of mine was talking to him in Dutch as well and he was telling her the same things. He then proceeded to remove the sign - so no information of the food seemed to be a better solution to him then the wrong information. I tend to think that he probably put it back shortly after but I totally do not intend to go there ever again, even to check. I would advise that this place is avoided - arrogant management means you should not expect...

Surprisingly good food despite initial doubts

I have to admit, I was a bit sceptical when I walked into the building. According to the reviews, it was supposed to be good, but it looked quite empty and most of the restaurants seemed either closed or like they weren’t going to open at all — and it was nearly 6 PM.

Luckily, we were warmly welcomed by one of the staff members, who kindly explained how everything worked. On the table there was a QR code you could scan to see the menu for that day.

I have to say, we really enjoyed the food. The snacks were tasty, and even though a lot of it was fried, I didn’t have any trouble with my sensitive stomach — which is rare for me.

The prices were a little on the high side compared to what you get, but the quality made up for it. The virgin cocktail was also delicious.

If we go shopping at The Wall again, we’ll definitely come back...

Recommendation for the concept, variety of food and the vibe. Not for the actual quality of the food. You pay upfront where you pick your arrangement. All dishes and drinks are included in that price. They have all kind of stations: Dim sum, Grill, Spanish, Wok, Seafood, Dutch pastries, Dessert & Ice cream, Turkish grill and several more. No complaints about the dishes you can pick from. But the thing is, it doesn't taste that amazing. The meat is often overcooked, the dessert & ice cream are bought from wholesalers (which taste different than places who actually make those), and it's usually over-salted. Don't get me wrong, you usually don't go to these kind of restaurants for the quality. It's more for the quantity and taste a bit of everything. Hence the positive experience. The staff is very friendly, it's very suitable for family groups and it's located conveniently.
