The menu offers three "surprise dinner" options. Unfortunately, the 4- and 5-course meals were unavailable, so we had to settle for the 3-course dinner, which was the only option. The wine list was quite limited, but we chose a bottle of Bordeaux blend. However, they couldn't locate it in storage, so we had to pick something else. The biggest downside of the restaurant was the service. We arrived five minutes early for our reservation but were left unattended at our table for 33 minutes. It took that long before they even asked for our drink order, and the menus didn’t arrive until 15 minutes after that. All this, despite the fact that only three tables were occupied. I can only imagine the chaos if the place were full. The food was decent, though the waitstaff struggled to explain the dishes placed in front of us—not that it mattered, as the food was pretty self-explanatory. The atmosphere was odd as well, with an erratic music playlist that ranged from pop...

I haven’t been to this restaurant, but I would like to share my phone call experience which I think it’s very rude and discriminatory.

I called them to make a reservation, a lady answered the call. I asked good afternoon, can I speak English with you? There was several seconds silence and she replied in Dutch that I cannot hear you (yes, I can understand Dutch). Then She hanged up the phone immediately. I can hear very loud “hung up” phone sound. I called back right away and asked my bf to talk in Dutch. Somehow she can hear him.

I have to admit that I was very doubting if I should share my feelings here especially when I saw so many good English reviews. However, if someone really can’t hear me, I expect the person would say “hello...hello...”. And this person should tell me “I cannot hear you, can you call again?” Instead of hang up the phone...

Great atmosphere inside what seemed to be an old barn. They did a great job on the interior. Service was good, especially the reception.

Drinks were taken without taking notes, so hats off to the man who remembered 8 different drinks.

What is made up in all off the above, lacks in the food however. Most food was heavily salted. Portions were ok for a restaurant in this price segment, but some of the food was plain bad. A brownie which resembled more of a rock on the inside then something edible. And a main dish that didn't really fill.

Some items on the menu where good, like the risottokroket, but they were overshadowed by other items which weren't.
