Wow! What a wonderful place! Service was impeccable, friendly, polite, funny, and refreshing. My son and I came for the first seating, which was a shorter seating, and the server was concerned that we wouldn't have enough time for the chef's tasting menu. I convinced her that we're fast eaters, and don't need lots of time between courses, and the kitchen, once consulted, agreed to give it a go.

The food was terrific. The open kitchen gave me an opportunity to interact with the chefs, which added an extra bonus to the meal. The small, but many dishes of the chef's tasting menu were creative, delicious, complicated, but not pretentious. The dashi mushrooms were SO good that I asked for the recipe, and they gave it to me! I was astounded.

The wine our server suggested was perfect, reasonably priced.

The meal was worth well more than we paid. I will come back here, not for the city (which is pleasant), but for THIS restaurant.

We enjoyed a delightful dinner in a cozy setting, perfect for a romantic date or an intimate meal. The staff was extremely attentive, and it was clear that a high standard of quality is upheld. The menu offered a nice selection, though there could be room for an additional dish or two, especially given the shared dining concept. Portions were on the smaller side. For instance, the flatbread with onion and blue cheese at €14 seemed a bit overpriced, as did the three gyoza dumplings for the same price. Including a side of fries or salad with the €38 steak would be a nice touch. However, these points do not detract from the refined flavors and exceptional quality of the dishes. What an absolutely amazing place to eat, drink and enjoy your evening. Everyone from the chef, to the nice girl & guy waiting on the tables were absolutely kind, genuine and warm with regard to the service. I thought the evening was excellently executed and the dishes were prepared deliciously matching the season of autumn. What I think is particularly noteworthy is how well they catered to my friends allergies, which aren’t easy to deal with.
