As usually I do shopping online, I try sometimes to do it offline as well to support stores but definitely would not do that again in Bijenkorf. The selection and brands are nice but the customer service is limited and arrogant. I was trying on dresses, and I am fine doing it on my own so I did not need help and no one offered it to me. When I decided to pay for 3 dresses I picked, I started looking for personnel - majority just stay together and talk to each other and do not see that you looking for them. When you approach someone, they are apparently not working for this brand and tell you to keep looking for correct person. After 10 minutes I was able to pay. When trying dresses again at home, one of them did not feel as nice as I felt for it in the store. I decided to return it next day. Same situation with trying to look for someone to help, when I said that I want to return a dress, I got questioned in a very arrogant way (taken into account that I kept 2 other dresses). After that I for some reason did not give up and start looking for shoes in this store. Same situation there- 3 people staying on the corner and talking and when you try get their attention, they donât see you. At that moment I realized, that I do not want to spend my money in this store. Brand range is good, nice fitting rooms and feels nice in the store, but customer service can be definitely improved especially taken into account that it can be a competitive advantage in comparison to online experience. At least the girl at the shoes department has a huge attitude. I asked her if I can fit 2 pairs. She only brought one. I tried, they did not fit, so I asked if she had the other pair. She looked at me like I am asking too mutch and went for the other pair. She came back with no shoes and said she has no my size. So I asked if she has a bigger or smaller so I can try, or my size but in different color, maybe they fit and if not, I can at least try if they are comfertable, so I can order online. Guess what? She told me she was busy and has no time... I mean, OK it was a Saturday, but definatley not very busy one. And if you walk twice for one customer (I asked 2 pairs at the same time, and she brought one by one) and if you do not think ahead (bring other color or a size bigger to try), then yes, you are busy with providing bad and inificient service.    Read moreToday on the 27th April around just after the opening time around 11am while checking some sweets on the ground floor I faced absolutely inappropriate behaviour of a shop assistant. She had a middle-east appearance, I guess she was responsbile for packing the Easter bon-bons. I approached her to ask about the price of the chocolate box, she responded very rudely that the price was on the box, I said yes I saw it, but I wanted to know the discounted price, and from that point on she started ignoring me, pretending she was busy packing. I tried so say that she seemed impolite and unprofessional, while she continued ingnoring me. I wanted to know who the manager was, she responded that she was the manager.. but I wasn't sure at that point if she was lying, judging from the way she was 'communicating' with me. I see from previous reviews that this was not the first case of treating customers like that. I hope this review will be read by the managers and that shop assistant will be dissmissed, otherwise more customers will be left...
