LemonGrass Thai Takeaway 1 — Restaurant in Utrecht

Ordered through UberEats. Estimated delivery time was 20-30 minutes. After a couple minutes it suddenly jumped to 50-90 (!) minutes. I wanted to cancel the order and get my money back. I tried to cancel the order through the app, but the app told me to call the restaurant since they were already preparing the food. I called the restaurant, they told me I had to call UberEats. UberEats told me to call the restaurant. I called again, they said I had to call their other branch to cancel. I called the other branch and they wanted my order number, which is not displayed in the app. They then told me they would call UberEats and cancel the order. I was transferred back to the other branch at some point (made 6 calls in total). Nothing changed in the app. I called again, they told me it was fine. 10 minutes later, the food arrived — 85 minutes late. Food was great especially with the price value, but service was a bit messy.

My dine-in food was served to another customer. They noticed it late so I had to wait further. My food arrives and it was burnt. I returned it saying that that food was burnt and I heard the staff communicating “he returned it because it’s burnt”. So I went back to sit and waited for my food. It was busy, it was a peak hour during dinner.

30+ minutes later the lady at the counter asks: do you want a new one? Kept my cool and said yes. Waited for another 10 minutes before my food was served.

The staff apologised, which I appreciate.

I went for lunch there . The place quite small only have four table and some side table.

When I there I stand 5 mins but the not saying anything to me so I have to ask if I can sit there . After I ordered he ask me pay directly . However ,when the other couple come he did not say anything and they pay after eat . This let me feel not so good .

Overall ,to be fair the food was ok But service really uncomfortable...
