Roodnoot — Restaurant in Utrecht

Phenomenal hidden treasure just outside of Utrecht. The huge old barn has been beautifully transformed into a brewery and restaurant with a great range of beers on tap. Along with the core De Prael line they have Grolsch and Pilsner Urquell on tap, and even their own Roodnoot beer which is super delicious. The staff is kind and helpful and the food is just what you need to accompany a few drinks. The patio outside is incredible, especially since it faces west and gets great sunlight all afternoon. Inside the barn the historic elements of the building are on display as well as a really interesting collection of beer memorabilia, including a little museum like collection of historic Dutch breweries.
