Extremely friendly & helpful staff | amazing coffee | lovely breakfast & brunch

I visit this place quite often and the staff is always amazing, the coffee is perfect and the breakfast is delicious.

They have several options for different kinds of coffee's from "milk" coffees to various types of black coffee such as filter or pour over coffee. They also have some nice teas and a lot of tasty smoothies and juices.

I really like their breakfast, I love the "Norwegian". Be warned that the pancakes can be very heavy on the stomach - they are tasty though.

The interior of the place looks really nice and they have quite a lot of seating, even a few tables outside. Though be warned that around lunch times in the weekend it can get quite busy, however I have never had to wait to be seated...

Great coffee and nice staff. I get my coffee from here on occasion and it is definitely one of the best places for coffee in Utrecht.

I was really excited to try their breakfast as I’ve been hearing great reviews. Unfortunately what I ordered was a let down. I had the avo toast with the addition of salmon. The smashed avocado was unseasoned, my bread was not toasted, causing the meal to be basically bland and soggy. To add to it, my poached eggs were over cooked. The hangover omelette was nice, but I believe the bacon did a lot of the heavy lifting in terms of flavour. I will give them the benefit of the doubt and try their breakfast again, the pancakes do look nice. But unfortunately for me, this visit...

The food is usually quite good here, but the Teriyaki Salmon Salad was a disappointment. Tiny “salad”, consisting of some spinach leaves tossed together with cherry tomatoes and 3 slices of smoked salmon. For 15€ definitely not worth it. But they’re really pushing it with the “lemonade”. I ordered the passion fruit lemonade, which was just sparkling water with lemon slices and some mint leaves. I asked whether she may have mixed up our order, but she said that it was just water mixed with syrup. Bit confusing when you’re advertising a lemonade. She didn’t offer to exchange it for something else either. Definitely won’t be back. 2 stars some because I like the one on Vredenburg + the service is...
