If it were possible to award this superb restaurant more stars, it would be done immediately by me. First and quickly noticed, the service is exemplary. The owner/server was informative, professional, engaging, and pleasant. Second, the food was delicious. We enjoyed tasting a variety of dishes from many quality offerings. Every single one of them was tasty and interesting — pleasure for the palate. Third, the desserts were both fun and yummy. And fourth, the prices were more than reasonable — my attempt to add perhaps too large a tip wasn't accepted. Read moreThis restaurant provides dishes more in the style of the 'Indian Restaurants' you find in England - lots of flavour, spicy heat, generous meat or vegetable portions in rich sauces - rather than what someone from India might describe as authentic Indian cuisine. Having said that, it's one of the best I've come across the world over. Food is delicious; everything from mild and sweet dishes to hot enough to challenge the palate, yet the flavour is never overpowered by the heat. But nor do they hold back on spices the way many Asian cafés in the Netherlands do. Staff are kind and very helpful. As an Englishman abroad this is a must-visit place. I just wish they did...
Read moreWe were there pretty early.. so the lady was busy drying up the utensils and the kitchen upstairs was starting up... they were not settle about it.. the lady was sort of throwing the spoons on each other which was very noisy and the whole place was smelling like charcoal... the result was headache! The food was not any better.. i have been to many indian restaurants before but this one wasnt as good as any of them.. the rice wasn't well cooked and the spices of the curry didnt compliment each...
