I live less than 3mins walk away from Carls Jr and my daughter was big fan of chicken tender, milk shake and cut fries with bits of ham toppings. Yesterday, my family ended up eating in the shop after an afternoon walk in the neighborhood. It was the most horrible experience we ever had…we ordered a different set of meals and one of which was a double beef burger. After sometime of waiting, they took the food in our table. We open the box 1 by 1 and noticed that they gave us a wrong burger. So i approached the counter and told them that they gave me a wrong burger. Told them that none of us order a double chicken burger. The young gentleman took the burger back and gave it to the young lady whose running the order. After few minutes, the young lady approached our table giving us another pouch and told us that its the right burger. I then opened the pouch and the box and to my surprised they gave me again another chicken burger. I walked to the counter and told them again that its not my order. I highlighted my order loud enough for the people at the counter to hear that its “double beef patty burger” i went back to my seat and a few minutes later another young man approach us and handed the pouch to me…again, the young playful crew handed me a juicy burger with cheese melts on top of it but the problem was…its not a “double cheese burger” for the fourth time, they gave me the right burger wrap and not in the box. When i opened it, the patties were dried and over cooked, its obvious that its not fresh cos the cheese were not even melted. It sits firmly right on top like a zombie. This time around, i called the attention of the staff and asked if their manager was around to talk. The young “general manager - as per position in his badge” approach me and asked me what the trouble was…told him what did your staff had told you? He said its just a miscommunication. I was out of my patience and was so angry 😡 to be approached without even saying sorry for the “miscommunication” statement. Told him, if it happened once i can accept that its a miscommunication, but it happened repeatedly after highlighting to them that they keep giving me the wrong burger…don’t think its still a miscommunication at all. I asked him if he trained the staff that works with him, he straightforwardly told me “NO” i dont trained them. As GM, Told him, aren’t you supposed to be training them? As far as i know, the manager in the fast food should be always standing in front to check if they handed out the items correctly and to make sure that the operations in the shop runs smoothly. But, this young GM is acting like an idiot flashing his Gm position but acts as front of the house staff who doesnt even know how to handle a very simple complain. Told him that isn’t it that all orders will appear in the kitchen screen before the staff started making it? He said yes, then why the wrong burger? He said, the staff put the wrong order. Hmmm, i said, can you show me my receipt? He reprinted my receipt and true enough the GM is bluffing in front of me. The receipts captured the right order. There was no chicken burger being ordered and its not true that they kitchen staff made mistake by making it cos all along its “beef burger”. The dont know anything GM just stand next to our table wandering what to do next…ask him what do u want us to do now? Bcos of this my family had lost the appetite to eat, the foods are getting cold and the inconvenience?! Showed him the last burger…He said, thats the correct burger that u order. I said, this one? Look at the patty its over cooked, its dry and its not fresh. He argued saying, but thats the correct burger…wanted to slam it to his face but im controlling myself. He then offered a refund, since some of the foods are touched by my family, told him the i want a refund for the “burger only” thats it. But, the way this unprofessional, untrained GM acted, he does not fit to hold that GM position. Carls Jr should re-evaluate his...
Read moreClean organised ambience lobby area, 5 customers eating in and there d/thru steady. Access into parking quite hard due to on busy road and this is on both sides disappointing to drive in and to find no parking not because they are busy but other retailers use there parking can be annoying when you notice only 5 people eating in and x2 are a family. Maybe look into Car Jnr parking only as this can be a loss of business opportunities if only d/thru moving and no foot traffic or lack of it. Food quality something to desire when you spend over $60 worth with 2 adults and 3 children that's a lot of money when product comes to you warm or fries mixed and warm with chilli sauce on top to give the impression that it is hot, taste hot but when you scoop into the chips you wonder why it's warm and chucks of patties chopped to bite size as mince not the best taste since they first opened. Product quality has gone down and the burger looks like it has a thumb print pressed down as they hold to wrap final product. Concern for the ranch sauce tasted like sour blue vein cheese even though reassurance was made to say it's fresh but how can you know when there is no expiry date or time made. Have to question Use by product. Customer service was great he delivered customer relations and added touch to customer satisfaction pity not on the product delivery. I would of like to grade more but overall disappointing quality and parking yes it's school holidays but these cars about 80% were not customers for Carl Jnrs. If you have not tasted there chilli and fries in a long while it may upset your tummy even though you enjoyed them several years ago? Obviously the product specs have changed somewhat if not it may be a reaction to the blend in the chilli sauce that has not been tasted in a while. Dessert wise shakes, drinks great and refill on drinks it great. Comparing product with BK it would be CJ comparing price wise BK, Maccas and KFC still have a pinch of quality above both with Wendy's on top of all in product quality but you would have to see yourself as this is an open opinion of the fast food brands, I do know that product quality needs to be uplifted or fast food business are only looking at there bottom line profit rather than customer satisfaction in quality, service and cleanliness. Made to order on the food you would of thought hot, as we were told take a number and wait they will service it out to our seats. Ordering systems across food service brands need attention and more communication to customers waiting over 5-7 minutes. I don't know what...
Read moreEasily the worst experience I've had at a fast food business! arrived at 10.20pm at the drive-thru as it was past walk-in hours, waited 50mins because the service was so slow this landed me at 11.10pm, which is 10mins past their closing time (11pm) that is listed on their Google page. I finally get to the window and am asked am I a Uber, I replied no and was told sorry we are no longer taking orders as it's past open hours, I said I've been waiting in line in well before closing time, the worker responded we actually closed at 10.30pm we are only taking Uber orders and we are short staffed so that's why we are still open. First off that's not the customers problem that the owners don't use more staff on a Saturday night of all times to not have enough staff on hand, secondly the worker says closing is 10.30pm but it's gpage says different if they don't want new customers showing up the owners should have updated the business hours to reflect the truth. Thirdly why are Uber orders taking priority over customers willing to order in person? The guy sitting at home waiting for his Uber Eats order is already willing to wait since they don't even leave their house yet the staff here are giving priority because you refuse to let Uber pickups come through the main door, instead forcing them to compete for a spot in the drive-thru with customers who don't work for a delivery company are left in the lurch because why? You don't have enough staff? On a Saturday? What a joke the owners should be ashamed of the management here and the lack of care from their staff, Never returning here as this is a on going problem at...
